Standard inserts are press-fit into the finger hole — the insert is pushed into: the hole and held in place by friction between the insert's outer surface and the ball's coverstock. 📐 VACU (Vacuum) Inserts
VACU inserts are drilled in two diameters use a vacuum-seal seating mechanism rather than a simple press-fit. The insert incorporates a sealing flange that creates a partial vacuum when seated — this vacuum holdsso the insert inhas placeroom withoutto relyingexpand. solelyThe onhole frictionis betweenstepped: an oversized pocket at the inserttop, OD and the hole wall.
