How to sign up

Getting started with Spectre Stats takes just a few minutes. You can sign up through the mobile app on iOS or Android, or directly through the web — whichever is most convenient. Once your account is created, your data syncs across all your devices automatically.

📱 Sign Up on Mobile (iOS or Android)

1. Download Spectre Stats from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store — search Spectre Stats or look for the app by BowlDevs.
2. Open the app and tap Sign Up on the welcome screen.
3. Enter your name, email address, and a password.
4. Tap Create Account to continue.
5. Check your inbox for a verification email and tap the confirmation link to activate your account.
6. Once verified, sign in and complete your profile setup.

⚠️ Verify: Confirm the exact sign-up flow, available login methods (e.g. Sign in with Apple, Google), and whether email verification is required before first use.

🌐 Sign Up on the Web

1. Open a browser and go to spectrebowling.com.
2. Click Sign Up or Get Started.
3. Enter your name, email address, and a password.
4. Click Create Account.
5. Check your inbox for a verification email and click the confirmation link.
6. Sign in and complete your profile.

⚠️ Verify: Confirm the exact web app URL (e.g. stats.spectrebowling.com) and whether the sign-up flow differs between mobile and web.

👤 Setting Up Your Profile

After creating your account, you'll be prompted to fill in a few details that help personalize your experience in the app.

• ✅ Display name — how you'll appear in the app
• ✅ Dominant hand — right- or left-handed
• ✅ Bowling style — e.g. stroker, tweener, cranker
• ✅ Home bowling center — your regular house for league or practice

💎 Free Account vs. Spectre Stats Pro

Spectre Stats offers a free tier to get you started, with an optional Pro subscription that unlocks advanced features for serious competitors.

You can start with a free account and upgrade to Pro at any time from the Account section of the app or web interface.

🔄 Already Have a Spectre Cloud Account?

If you or your pro shop already uses Spectre Cloud, you may be able to link your accounts to share arsenal and ball data between the two apps. Check the Spectre Cloud Integration section for setup instructions.
